The Story
(based on the Chinese): Bold-spirited Tōko and her adopted brother Oguna are the closest of friends. When he leaves their village for the capital city, Oguna promises to return to Tōko’s side a braver, better person. But that day finally arrives, and Oguna, now the master of the Dragon Sword, lays their homeland to ruin. Escaping the carnage, Tōko sets off to find the Magatama, the key to controlling the Dragon Sword. Vengeful and heartbroken, she swears to kill the young man who was once like a brother to her. Tōko’s journey takes her to self-discovery, unexpected allies, and the tragic truth behind Oguna’s transformation. A story of two parallel quests, of a pure love tried by grievous misunderstanding, this sequel is a coming-of-age story every bit as epic as Dragon Sword and Wind Child.
